Global warming and the release of harmful gases and unwanted odors into the air will be the biggest problem of Barbeque Restaurants recently and in the future. The owners of Lale Restaurant found a solution for the barbecue restaurants in Mannheim as a result of long researches. The system in question is exemplified first in the city of Mannheim and then in other cities. The smoke and odor disturbance caused by 19 barbecue restaurants in Mannheim city center has been disturbing the local people and the Ministry of Environment for a long time. In November 2019, Mannheim Municipality had the smoke and odor measurements of the said restaurants made by Dekra company. The measures extending to the prohibition of charcoal for enterprises that do not adapt their filter systems to the measurements given in a certain period have been finalized.
Operators of Lale Restaurant, which has been looking for filter systems to solve the problem together with the environmental management since its opening, commissioned the Alp Air Cleaning Plant, which cleans the smoke and odor produced in Istanbul with ozone in October 2019. Officials of the City of Mannheim Environmental Affairs Department decided that this plant fulfills all the emission, smoke and odor reduction values currently created under current laws, and started to show the plant as a model and recommend it to municipalities in other states. Cologne Municipality officials also came to Mannheim recently, examined the power plant in Lale Restaurant and started recommending it to the owners of barbecue restaurants in Cologne Region.
Yılmaz AKİLAK, one of the owners of Lale Restaurant, stated that it is his duty to provide all kinds of information to his colleagues on the subject in order to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Akilmak stated that the phone numbers 0157 79 25 90 84 and 0621 401 66 939 can be used to see the air cleaning plant and to see the air cleaning plant.
