What is a Carbon Filter?

Carbon filters are used as second and third stage odor arresting filters after pre-filtration. It has a high odor holding capacity with 80% – 90% efficiency. Filling can be done easily thanks to the clips placed on the covers.

It is used to retain organic odors such as paint, polish, solvent, thinner odors, hospital odors, alcohol, tobacco and cosmetic odors, food and rotten food odors.

It is produced in cylindrical form from galvanized metal in 4, 6, 8 and 16 cartridge models with openable lids that facilitate the change of activated carbon granules inside.

Activated carbon filters are very effective in capturing gas molecules. There are millions of pores on their surface. Fragrance molecules are trapped in these pores, providing odor filtration.

Activated carbon filters should be changed every 3 to 6 months, depending on the intensity of use.
When pollution occurs in active granular carbon filters, only the carbon granules contained in it are changed, there is no need to change the filter cartridge.
