VAV Terminal Units

VAV terminal units convert the amount of conditioned air carried to your mechanisms according to the signal received from the thermostat or automation system and provide air volume and dependently, temperature control. A VAV unit is basically composed of a damper, driving motor, flow sensor, related control equipment and heater. Heater unit is not standard and supplied as an accessory. VAV unit adjusts the conditioned air flow forwarded to the room in line with the data received from the thermostat.

VAV units are used almost throughout the year in interior zones to be cooled without the heater and with a heater in exterior zones where cooling is needed in summers and heating in winters.

These units convert the amount of conditioned air forwarded to a used space by the signal they receive from the thermostat or automation system and control the temperature. Single duct VAV terminal units need a lower horse power due to a very low pressure decrease they generate in the system and operate silently.

The compact design of VAV units allows them to be used in buildings having intensive suspended ceilings. Today they are widely used in operating rooms, intensive care units, clean rooms and modern buildings due to the comfort they provide
